    MT/AT h22 cams... different?

i was at my friends shop the other day and some guy came in with a h22 swap in his 4th gen lude. the place he got his swap from gave his a broken knock, so they used my ecu since the ks has been disabled... but the car still ran weak. almost like vtec wasnt engaging. are the cam profiles different?

that guy had a manual tranny. but he could have bought a motor that was with an a/t tranny... then they just bolted it up to a manual trans.

    cams are different.

i have engine specs for f22a3 for manual and automatic and cams specs are different mt 39.167 lobe height int. and 39.356 and auto int is 38.741 and auto exhaust. 38.972.. so wtf does that have to do with h22 you saying. well if its different for f22 then probably mostly likely..like 90% sure in saying they are indeed different for the h22

    hope it helped

I don't know about that... My H22 came from an Auto Prelude and we all know how much power I made on stock cams.

It's more then likely that the guys cams where off. Maybe the timing belt was off on one cam a tooth or both. I've seen that more often then not lately on H22's.
