well if your saying your fuel pump went off im pretty sure its not the relay, ive had to replace the relay only once. when you turn the switch to the acc mode do you hear that fuel pump that makes under the driver side door?

no the fuel pump does not turn on i had this same problem a week ago it died in a parking lot i towed it home i ordered a used relay and when i put the new used relay in the car started right up last night and this morning it wont fire up and i dont hear the fuel pump its the exact same thing as before so i know its the main relay why does it keep going bad

You don't hear the Fuel Pump, but what about the PGM-Fi Main Relay itself: do you hear it click twice? Have you checked the PGM-Fi Main Relay ground to be sure it's clean and secure? Do you have a meter or probe light to see if there is even battery voltage at the PGM-Fi Main Relay when the Fuel Pump fails to come on?

Have you got a probe light to look for voltage at the relay? And yes, we are talking about the same relay; it goes by different names.

The ground for the ECU, Main Relay, Speedometer, and a few other things is on top of the transmission.

If you pop open the relay, it has a bad solder joint. If you resolder that crappy factory joint it'll NEVER happen again.

Why on earth would you buy three main relays? Stop buying parts until you know what the problem is; all you're going to do is frustrate yourself.

                        1. Have you checked for voltage at the main relay with a multimeter or probe light?

                        2. Have you checked for a good connection to ground, not just the ground point itself, but all the wire in between?

                        3. Have you jumped the fuel pump?

                        4. Have you checked for voltage at the resistor box or ECU?

                        5. Have you checked for spark?

                        6. Is your ignition coil within spec?

                        7. Is there enough gas in the car for it to start (just thought I'd ask)

ok guys i figured it out not the pump is getting voltage cause i jumped it and i t found out that the wire was pintch some how under the seat but the pump still wont turn on so now i think the pump took a shit so it never was the main relay
