    Steering wheel not aligned

Sadly, I was ripped off the other day. My turning signal switch was defective, as it wouldnt work. I went to a shop to do it, and they charged me $103. Later on of course, after i got it, i found out it costs $20 at a dealer. And installation is not too much. But neways, I guess they removed my steering wheel to install it, and when they put it back on, it is not aligned right. It leans to the left alittle when the wheels are facing straight forward. How can i fix this? If i go back to the shop, they will charge me to fix it. Once when my fuse blew for my amp, they charged me $20 to change it. A fuse that costs less than a dollar. sigh. i hate NYC shops

Thats bs.. i would file a complaint or something. If you dont have an airbag, get your tires as straight as possible, take off the steering wheel, and put it back on the right way.

I do have an airbag. The most I can do is file a complaint with the FTC i think it is, and never go back to their shop again.

well you can also take the airbag equipped one off.. you just gotta be a lil more careful.. I would just follow a manual so you dont set it off....

Go back and make them fix it. If they dont do it for free, then file a complaint and do it your self.

This is the last time I go to any shop. All my work I will try to do myself, and any problems I have, well... I'll always have you guys I know how to disconnect the airbag, but does anyone know how to remove the steering wheels on our CB7's? Pics would be awesome

damn dude u went to a shop. lol yeah take it back and make them do it for free.

and don't take the car to a shop that u don't know. just do it ur self. just buy some tools for like $80 and start working by ur self on ur car. when u have a problem open up themanual. or download the manual here on top. and if u still have question come here and SEARCH or ask questions.

Well I did search, and cant seem to find anyone that removed a steering wheel with airbags attached. I bought a Haynes manual. I will get to work when its warmer, its like 20 degrees here in NYC. Hmm, i gotta go get a tool set now. Things are starting to look better
