Where does the main Alternator wire run to?

I have been having a short in my electrical systems for over the last two months. This was due to my alternator wire running next to my timing belt and was getting chewed up and has damaged the wire. I have since fixed the damage but I am still getting this flickering in my headlights, guages and just about everything else inside the cockpit. I would like to know where it runs to so that I may rewire where this goes to. Thanks in advance!

main wire goes directly from the alternator to the fusebox. it is the second screwed-down wire attached to the front of the box.

it is loomed into the main engine harness, but it makes no other connections. you can replace it with an external wire with no problems, just make sure the ends you use are attached very firmly, soldered preferably.
