    h23 rods in a f22b dohc?

    so i was doin a little research.and i was wondering if the h23 rods and crank would fit in a f22b dohc.the reason is i have a spare h23 blockand i want the piston to come out of the block like a stoker kit...is it possable?

    It would come out of the block all right, and thru the head

        F22B = 85mm bore
        H23A = 87mm bore

        H23A has FRM sleeves that enable a big bore. U can't, AFAIK, safely bore an F22B block to 87mm.

        U have the H23A block... ur good, just get

        - stock H22A pistons
        - H23A/F22B/F22A rods
        - H23A crank

        H23A displacement, H22A compression, just need to make sure u have enough valve clearance and all that shi

          ok so the 87 mm bore give it a extra liter...dont think so/really never new that...i wanted to put the h23 bottom rods and crank in my f22b and keep my sstock pistons..to make it a f23b dohc for a lil more torque..but the rod lenght and cranks are the same as the f22b dohc so it would be no point..and i was asking,what gives the h23 that extra liter?

            The H23A & F22B have the same crank, swapping cranks between the two will not gain you anything, you need to brush up on engine dimensions & learn the difference between the two. IIRC the only thing different is the pistons and you can't put H23A pistons in an F22B w/o sleeving
