Annoying drone/hum and slight vibrations on freeway

When I'm on the freeway, 60+ I get those symptoms. Straight line or turning left... but if I turn right hard enough, it all goes away.

Is it a wheel bearing, axle or both? And what would cause it to go away when i turn right?

could also be a tire. I know I've got a shitty tire on my LR and the tread is all chunking away since its kinda old and it makes that noise.

But its most likely a wheel bearing...does it get louder as you go faster?

Yes it does. While cruising on streets, i dont notice much bits 60+ on the freeway that it gets loud. And I've become used to it. I only notice just how loud it is when I turn right and it goes away for a second or two.

bearings typically humm, but a cupped tire can also sound similar. later.

I just got my 91 SE on the road 240 miles ago. I installed a rebuilt head, gaskets, seals, belts, water pump, plugs, Cap, rotor, wires, air filter and PCV valve.

Currently running a tank of premium Conoco, with a half bottle of Lucus FI cleaner. The car has a hesitant spot in the accelerator at (about 35mph) while depressing 1/3rd. I'm pretty sure this is clogged fuel injectors or a sticky butterfly valve in the intake.

Other then that (what I'm working on already). I noticed a similar HUM / vibration in the car over about 65mph. It does fade out when turning right. However mine also smooths out under acceleration!

In many ways it sounds like the same thing I'm feeling. I plan to check my suspension this weekend. Plus switch about half of the suspension off my old 92 coupe. (new struts, Energy suspension kit...)

Unfortunately for me the 91 SE has ABS, the 92 LX does not! So Hubs/Knuckles/bearings are not compatible on the front end (also kills my Brembo's too!).

If my bearings ARE bad (thus causing MY vibration/hum). I'll tell you soon!
