    Problems installing tps sensor

So i ordered a new tps sensor cuz the cb i just bought idles very rough and bounces from 1000 to 2500 when idling, and to my dismay i find that its riveted in. is there an easy way to remove the rivets or do i have to replace the entire throttle body? thanks guys

Take a dremel or saw and cut a notch in the top of the "rivet". Then you can use a screw driver to take them out.

Are you sure it's your TPS and not the other, more common failures that result in the same idle problems you have?

When you replace a TPS, it must be recaliberated if Im not mistaken.

Don't think it would be the idle air control valve ?

Maybe some carb cleaner and some adjustment, you can fix it.
