alignment after hub/bearing assembly replacement or other???

everything runs smooth and quiet, but when i hit 75+ on the freeway i get a little shake in the steering wheel. is it related to disturbing the alignment?

ive been reading mixed reviews on how necessary, but i also noticed that the hub centric ring on the wheel is missing. i was able to line it up and torque down the lug nuts. so does that align the wheel enough or does the plastic ring really serve a purpose?

Its probably due to wheel balance more than anything

But I dont remember the shake from before. How does putting a new hub on affect wheel balance?

well its a lot cheaper to check the balance on the tires vs. paying 60-80 bucks on an alignment, so thats what I'd do first. You do have a lifetime balance/rotation when you purchased right? So anything you can do for free is better than wasting money on.

When I did my bearings in front, I got no shake at all, but you never know...there coulda been so much slop in the wheel bearings from before that you didn't notice the wheel balance being slightly off....now that the bearings are nice and tight, now you notice the shake a little more possibly.

I actually bought the wheels and tires as is, so I never paid for mounting or anything, so no warranty.

Either way, I have an appointment Thursday, so I'll found out then. I've also had the passenger side lower ball joint replaced, so it's time for an alignment check.
