    Idle issues

Just picked up a ram intake yesterday, after I installed it my idle was never the same. It idles at 1500. That high as hell!!! I've tried fixing the idle by adjusting the the cable idle nut that's infront of the IM and then I tried to fix it by resetting the ECU, I don't know what else to do. Has anyone else had this issue?

have you make sure that you plug all vacuum tubes? adjusting the cable nut will not change your idle, just your gas pedal free play, put it back where it was and dont touch it.you need to turn that screw thats on the throttle body with a screw driver.adjust it while the motor is running and have someone watch the rpm needle drop, in between 800 and 700 (750 preferred) rpm.
