    Clunking sound when clutch engages

So I went to school yesterday and everything was fine no problems, I got home around 3pm. Then, I had to go to the bank and when I started up my car I could tell something was wrong from the sound it was making kind of a clicking or clunking sound, but couldn't tell exactly what it was. So I pulled over before I left my neighborhood to try to see what it was and it looked like P/S or crankshaft pulley was making the noise or might have been loose, but the belt was still in place. Anyways as soon I as I start pulling out of my neighborhood, when I engaged the clutch it would make a clicking sound like something was rubbing together and when I got on the gas about 15mph it sounded bad so I pulled over right away. I tried to diagnose it real quick, no luck then my car dies on me. The engine will turn over, but won't start and my timing belt wasn't turning either. The timing belt was replaced last August and everything looked like it was put together correctly. Could something be wrong with the way the timing belt was put on or is it possibly on of my pulleys? Thanks in advace and sorry for the long story

if your timing belt isn't turning, that means its either broken or the tensioner is really loose and slipping on the teeth.

take all the timing covers off and inspect whats going on in there.

Alright thanks, I'll check the tensioner because the belt doesn't look broken
