A cruise countrol ? help?

Alright i want to take out my cruise due to the fact that its dead weight and it never worked i have closed the vacume line off and got it most the way out my ? here is the wire that goes into the wire wall and that countrols the T. cable can i cut it with out causing any problems or is there another way to remove it? any help would be great

well found the answer you dot have to cut it but just trace it into your car and then push up on the cable so it 90o and then pull or push it toward the break and it should slide right out then just pull it out of the firewall and your done!
