    electrical reset concern

k some im having some kind of wiring issue and just started a few days ago.. i noticed that my clock on the dash would keep the memory. The first thing that came to my mind was my battery had drained a bit but still had enough juice to start up the car, but my radio presets were no erased. So i noticed that when ever the seatbelt light was off the clock would turn off, it would come back on and so would the clock but reset to 1:00. Also when the seat belt light is off the seat belt motor on the door will not retract on the passanger side. But today the seat belt light wont even come on at all and no display on the clock...any ideas?

If i deciphered what you were trying to say right......Sounds like a blown fuse. Check the 7.5 fuse in the top right corner of the fuse box under the hood. I believe it says back up radio or something to that extent.

Sikz answered your question. It happen to me 3 months ago. My clock was messed up plus my stereo would not fire up. Instead of changing the fuse to a 7.5 I changed mine to a 10 and since then i had no problem with it

Basically you did not fix the problem, but worked around it.

Thread creator should have a relevant title.

You tested the fuse.... ? Replace it anyways with one of the same rating ... Many times they can be partially "blown" and the circuit will function to a certain extent.

yea i put a fresh one in (7.5A) yea funny thing is it was intermittent then finally quit. so does this mean the the power seat belts and clock are on the same circuit?
