    maintenance required light?

I'm curious what the light under my rpm gauge does? its been red since i"ve bought the car in January of this year, but have been in other peoples accords where the light is green and yellow? i assume red is bad.... but have never had any issues with my clutch or grinding gears etc.... i regularly change the oil every 3000 miles and have no idea why my light would be red? i have a 1991 accord lx......any ideas?

its jut a oil change light. push the little thing on the left side of it in with your key and it will go back green.

It is just a REMINDER it has no effect on the car what so ever. It will change from green to yellow to red if it is not clicked with the key. There is alittle indent in the lower left side if im not mistaken?

      :damn beat me 2 it

Yeah, that thing is nothing but a counter. It has no idea what your engine is doing... just how many miles your odometer has logged since it was last reset. Nothing to worry about. I keep mine red, because i like it better than green (and it won't stay amber for long... )
