    Shift solenoid

My Sport light was blinking, so I read the code, which gave me 2 short flashes, which indicates Shift Solenoid B open circuit or shorted out.

I havent noticed any issues with how the car drives, and I'm not too familiar with the bits of auto trannies. Is this part something that can be repaired or replaced? Or what's the deal with it.
