    A/C question

So the other day I bought some freon to recharge my system since its empty and I used a full 18oz can and a half a can of normal r-134 freon with oil added. And the compressor kicked right on as should and it was reading 44 pounds of pressure. So that was in the green zone so I was good. No leaks at all or anything. I let the a/c run for 30 mins and blew cool air but not cold! It was colder then before but not cold like it should be. I went out the next morning and checked the pressure it was fine. Still 44 pounds. I then recharged my dads 92 accord coupe with the same stuff and his is ice cold! What do i need to replace????

    Much help would be nice

It was 100% empty without any pressure? Did you pull a vacuum on the system before you filled it?

Expansion valve. If youre going to replace it, it would be best to replace the drier as well. This time pull at least a 15min vacuum before you charge the system.
