Hi guys will one of my friends had a very good question that is having the 02sensor bad lose power on our cars? Would we gain some sort of performance having a good o2 sensor? Thanks

The o2 sensor reads oxygen content in the exhaust gases to determine the air fuel mixture ratio.

All it does it take readings so no " upgrading " the o2 sensor will not do anything on a stock motor

Replacing one that is faulty will give you alot of power though. When the sensor fails the ecu goes into limp mode and the car runs very rich and you lose alot of power.
