Weird Engine Miss/Hesitation.

This past week my car has been intermittently acting funny. It will sort of act like its missing when you press on the throttle to quickly. It seems like you can press on the acc slowly and it will not do it but if you press real fast it will miss up until you get past 2100 rpm...Its almost like its getting to much or not enough air into the intake. Its pretty random when it does it too, I can drive home from work without a problem eat lunch then go to go back to work and it will do it the whole time I drive back. Anyone have any ideas?

check your plugs/cap/rotor/wires and your ignition timing. if all those are in order, your ignitEr might be going out.

Just so I know can you let.me know what has been done to the vehicle.

The hesitation may very well be from the ignitor. They can be tested at most auto parts store and are easy to get to. This is usually accompanied by a jumping tach, so look for that.
