Probably in the h22a7 found in the euro R......or Type R as it's known in Europe

I never knew they called it the Type R. I always just thought it was the Euro R.

He knows. He was sarcastically teasing at your usage of the term "Type R" in reference to the car the recommended cams came from. Albeit, the possibility exists that you could have been correct because of the existence of the Accord Type R sold in the UK/European markets as coupes pointed out.

But since you clarified by referencing the motor in Japan, you are incorrect because the car is the Euro R over there built on the CL1 chassis instead of the CH1 that the Type R is.

Abraham Lincoln said, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

All that aside, we're totally just giving you a hard time. If you want to upgrade cams you need to first determine what type of driving the car will be doing. If you want a very mild-mannered street car, the Euro R/Type R/Type S (there may be more than one casting between those) cams may be your best bet. It would not be a drastic upgrade over stock but it would still give you a bump in power without requiring a valvetrain upgrade. If you want significant improvements then you'll need to look into an aftermarket set. Either way, you will need to have your ECU tuned. Adjustable cam gears also help wonders.
