I'm going to run Mobil 1 4t 10w40 in my accords transmission.
Background:
I just got the engine/transmission swapped. old one spun a main because I didnt fix a fuel issue on it(bad injector). Old trans had roughly 220k on it, shifted well, I had been using Amsoil MTF in it for about 20k miles. - saddened me to drain it
Had a Clutch Masters Aluminum flywheel for like 4 years now, Finally got it installed since I was in there LOL.
I know its always something people are looking for (MTF alternatives) so I figure I'd throw this out there. I chose this over 20w50 Vtwin because its a little closer to 5w30(honda mtf weight) and still has substantial ammounts of Zinc. Its also for use in "wet clutch" applications, which in my thoughts, **should** help with the friction needed for synchronizers to work correctly.
I don't care if I waste 20 bucks on this, someones gotta try.
