Hasport left side motor mount alignment issues

So I dropped in my engine, H22a1, this weekend and was trying to get Hasport's left side motor mount in and it seemed not to align up correctly and was wondering if anyone has had any trouble with this motor mount or has any tricks? Hasports rear motor mount went in just fine it's just the left side I'm having trouble with. Also, I don't know if it being a automatic originally than swapped to manual has anything to do with the alignment issues, but I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow to see if I can get it on since I put back on the old one for now.

i guess your talking about the tranny mount. if your car was (is) an auto, it will not work. check out ESP.net they should have what you need

I've got the hasport mounts on my car, picked them up personally at their shop in Phx, AZ.

At first they gave me 3 mounts thinking that a prelude BB4 mount kit would work on the CB7 bay, nope no luck. So I had to still use my ESP Auto to 5spd one since that one made my engine sit cocked at an angle.

So currently, I've got the rear and engine side mount and ESP.net Auto to 5spd mount.

Search my threads for Hasport and you should see all the pics I took of when I got mine back around Dec 2010

Naw it's not the transmission mount its the drivers side mount and I did happen to look through your thread. I was hoping to see some pictures of your engine bay with the hasport mounts in, but only saw the three mounts. That sucks though man that all three didn't fit, that would've looked sweet all 3 Hasport motor mounts. Was there a trick at all to get it align right cause of buddy of mine who has both Hasport mounts to said it was a pain and had to use a crowbar to get the side mount to align to the bracket that's attached to the block and then bolted it down. However, the polyurethane on his mounts seemed to come loose and I don't want that to happen to mine. All my motor mounts are on and I was just going to put a 2x4 under the oil pan and jack it up, then see if I can get it on that way. For some reason it just seems like the mount isn't long enough for the bracket, but I'm going to give it a shot in a little bit. Also, think you can send me a pic or two Losiracer2 of the side Hasport mount? I'd appreciate it

The rear mount was a PITA. Took me a solid hour of wrestling with it to get it to fit inside the bracket. The I had to tap on the bracket and remove some of the bolts on it to get it to wiggle on there.

Ok it doesn't sound that bad. Once I lower my car I'll give it a shot. I forgot I had my car on jack stands so I put on my axles last night and hooked up my clutch lines. Soon as this engine is running though I'll have a nice collection of pictures to put up.
