    post swap electrical issues

Okay, so my car has been on the road for 2 days after being down since november and swaped with a f22b2 and it seems like mroe and more shit has been going out on me First, I noticed I had no speedo. Well the VSS wasnt plugged in. But the plug wont reach the other. Not a big deal I can fix that. Well now, my cluster and climate control lights have gone out but the clock still works and all my fuses are good And more recently, my tails and reverse lights arent lighting up and again they have good fuses too. WHAT THE FUCK!? If anyone has any insight on where I should go from here, please let me know. Thank you all in advanced.

EDIT: My dimmer switch is all the way up and my bulbs are good. My tails light up only when braking though. Not with the headlights as they should.

Well the light issue is most likely your dimmer switch, and you can check the brown box in your tail light, they tend to go out.

Now by dimmer switch you mean the wiring is shot in the switch? I do recall my switch being turned all the way up. I dont know car electrical systems worth shit by the way and by brown box in my tails you mean the box that contains the bulbs? If thats what you are referring to they light up but only when I hit the brakes so if I were to drive it at night I am at risk of getting slammed in the back or pulled over so until then its not leaving the house at or near night fall.

What I mean is replace the dimmer switch. And if your brake lights work when you press the brake but not when you don't, that leads me to think a broken/disconnected ground.

Come to think of it the ground part makes perfect sense and when the cars finishing touches to get it on the road were done I was in surgery and sleeping and my dad was the one doing it rather then me. I am not doubting his work but me not being there when it was actually finished and the ground being such a small detail I would not doubt it. I will go check that out. Thank you for the info and quick response.
