How to reset ABS light??

hey guys. need a lil help here. few weeks ago my abs light came on, i red the code it said it was the front left abs sensor. i changed the sensor and now i need to clear the abs code. how do i do that? i tried pulling abs fuses , didnt work? help me out please.

ok . i rest the light but myc code came back ABS blinked 4 times and then 2 times. does anyone know what the abs codes are?

i believe it is a wheel speed sensor but not sure which one i can check on monday at work.

its the front left one . lol . i already replaced it and then reset the codes and it came back again, next thing ill do i guess is check wiring .

How do you check the codes for the abs sensor. My light is on also.

under ur glove compartment on the right side there is a little blue connector
u pull it out and jumper it with a paper clip or w/e. then u put the key in ignition and turn it to the position before start 3 times and then u wait. the abs light will flash now. abs error codes are diff then ecu codes, you will first get a main code then a pause an then a SUB code. for example if there is a problem like mine i get code 4 which is ABS speed sensor and then i get sub code 2 which means its the front left one. lemme know which code u get and ill tell uwat it is.

I bridged the connector and the abs light comes off and the check engine light comes on. Thats all it does.

u gotta turn it on and off 3 times, to on position and ll the way back off

did you check your drive shaft and make sure that there is nothing in the abs ring also check the wiring

I just gave up on the light. I tried turning it on and off 3 times and still no abs light blinks. All I get is solid check engine and thats it abs stays off and when I remove the jumper it comes back on I am still on whats wrong with it

you have to pull the ABS fuse in the under-hood ABS fuse box for at least 10 seconds, this should clear all DTC's from the ABS control unit. If it recodes, then you still have a problem somewhere.

I didn't know this procedure until I read this. My ABS light was on since I had my cb7 (w/ f22a) for like 2+ yrs. Now that I did my h22 swap I'm getting more involved w/ the car and the light turned off by itself

If anything happens again I'll definitely keep this in mind ...
