so i got my new cb 2 days ago and when i go to start it in the morning it just cranks. wont even try to fire. the guy i bought it from said he replaced the main relay and the fuel pump does turn on. now, the car does need tube seals. bad. could the problem be that the spark plugs are just so drenched in oil that they are not giving off enough spark? because after i crank it over for about 20 minutes or so, it will start right up and run fine all day.

If you snuff out the spark the car wont start you just answered your own question. What I would do personally I would check one by one to make sure that your spark with the sparkplug.
Do this attached to the sparkplug wire with the sparkplug out of the motor and check for spark without the oil on it. Make sure that it clear of debris and oil. Then check to make sure that it sparks.
Since you have a oil all over the sparkplug problem next change all of the seals uncluding the sparkplug cover seals and the sparkplug seals all of them. This is just used for a precaution before you startspending big amounts of money.
If the sparkplug keeps on getting soaked in oil you may have a bigger problem like oil going past your rings which will involve your motor acting up which I seriously doubt. After all of this is done and you change your seals give your a compression test.
