            header

I think you wrapped it weird.

Edit: i think you should be good though, you got foil on the ac like an inch thick plus wrapped header and also looks like you did your radiator hose. think that's the reason its touching.

its got 2 layers of wrap on it, a total of about 40 dollars. Plus its got silicone spray on it.

Soo, is the AC pipe gonna get fried?

The pipe is what i'm concerned about, its touching the headers. I'm not talking about the wrapped part but the bare metal part.

There was a AC heat shield for the stock ex mani. but that's of no use now.

Hes asking if the clearance between his header and ac is an issue.

OP if it ain't touching don't worry about it. To add header wrap is made to keep the heat in so your probably good there aswell.

In this pic you see a pipe. Its in the center of the pic. That is a AC pipe going directly to the AC compressor and at the same time slightly touching the headers,

thanks. Does anyone know how to find out for certain if your cylinder head cam gear is facing the "UP" position for the TDC engine stroke?

I am having issues finding it on my cylinder head, it seems that the actual head is not completely level (its slanted) and so the "UP"mark really isn't UP but kind of off set. The same goes for the lines on the sides, they aren't level with the ground they are level with the head (which is slanted).

That confuses me. How can I know for certain if the cyl. head is ready for TDC compression stroke?

when the cam gear is facing up, you will see a mark at the edge of the gear, on the edge of the teeth, at 3 o clock and 9 o clock, THOSE are to be level with the head, the up arrow with be facing slightly towards the rear of the car.
