    Replacing the tps

    Hey everyone,
I need to replace my tps and I know where it's located but I was told I would need to cut Rivits into the non rivited screws that hold the tps in place, how do I go upon doing this? I don't have a dremel or any tool like that. What else could I use?
    Thank you,
    Antonio

I used a fine tooth saw blade made for metal to cut a groove to that I could use a screw driver and unscrew them. Remember you have to calibrate the new tps to the correct voltage.

How do I go upon doing that? What tools do I need to calibrate it and what do I need to do?

You dont need to do it but it helps if you dont have access to a dremel. I would say get the dremel if you dont mind having it it helps and all you have to do is get two bolts that fit at the back for replacement.

Or you can take the tps connector and pray that it works and thats only if it gets a good connection. I would just saw it off and replace the connector.

well i have a new tps and i took a hacksaw and sawed grooves to allow a phillips head to work. the one screw came out although the next one broke so i kept making grooves and now theres nothing sticking out of the one hole but the screw. the problem with that is that the only thing left is the thread on the screw and i cant manage to get it out of the hole(look at the links below), help?
