    Adjustable Fpr Question

ok like every week my fuel pressue rises.

before i got my car back it was running way rich, so i brought a adjusable fpr. once my car was fixed the fpr read 60psi which was to high so we dropped it to 38psi, but thing is........it wont stay at that, it raises up 3-5psi. i mean but when i give it gas it drops back down 2-3psi.

so say if i..........adjust it to 38psi, the next day when i start the car it will be at 45psi til the car warms up then it drops not to 38psi but to like 40 psi.
is to due to the fact the car hasnt warmed up yet?

should this be normal or should i look for some other cause for my fuel pressure to be rising?

i mean it doenst go up to the point where its back firing or spluttering but it gets annoying having to adjust it back to 38-40psi every week. thanks

I think this happen to alot of cb7 with walbro 255 pump and AFPR.
since doing cold day the ecu will go full rich until it get warm up. with vaccum fuel pressure is about 38psi for stock FPR, but if no vaccum is apply or the hose is remove the pressure actually go up to 48psi for 92-93 accord.

So even through your AFPR is set to 38psi while the engine is warm, when starting on a cold day the ECU will spike the pressure up to 48psi to run full rich until it warm up.

just my 2cent, Since if I force it to stay at 38psi, it will stall out and die on very cold day. once it warm up, it start with no problem.
