    h22a tps question

    Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has run into the problem of a broken tps on their h22a before and found a swap that works from any other honda engine. It seems the f22a will bolt on but the position is differant. f22a tb is also differant. Engine in and almost ready to run, will it be able to run without the tps?

I got one from a civic before when mine was acting up, you just need to mount it onto your throttle body and make sure to calibrate it to the correct voltage. I was able to see my voltage with my laptop cause I have a chipped ecu, if not you will need a voltmeter.

it MAY run without one, if it does it will be very rich, idk why you wouldnt just buy a new tps they are only about 40$ from local auto part stores

Couldn't get out to one in time and I know where lots of junk vehicles are I work 12 hour shifts and lots of hours hard to get out to pick up parts. Car is almost ready wanna get it out for a drive before the snow when I have to put it away. What year was the civic I have a throttle body off of a d16y7

For future referance my tps was 180 degrees out, had to turn it over and remove a small screw hole in the back of the intake manifold next to where the throttle body bolts on due to the plug not being able to fit with this screw hole mounting point being there. I set the tps to .45v and tightened it up. Working fine no code
