i did all that today. changed the tube seals while i was in there. could it be my ignitor? becuase i used to have to wrap the dizzy in a towel at night so it would start the next morning. but the whole firing out of the intake is still confusing me

would a failing ignitor cause it to fire through the intake though?

wn im cranking the motor over, its firing out of the intake. lets see if i can explain this better. my buddy put his hand over my intake tube with no filter on and when i cranked it over, it practically blew his hand off. i sprayed some starting fluid in the intake (stupid idea, but learn from your mistakes) and it just puffed it back out. also it backfires sometimes while cranking

ok, all my timing marks line up so its not my timing. its either my ignition coil, my igniter, or my ignition control module. my question is whats the difference between the igniter and the ignition control module? they look excatly the same.

is there anyway to test those components? with a test light or something?
