how do you wire one wire vtec?

so i just did my h22 swap last weekend, into my 92 ex coupe. motor purrs like a kitten and runs strong but i cant get vtec to work.

    its a jdm h22a
ecu is a chipped p06 with h22 base map.

ive herd that you can have it work fine with the one wire, but i can decipher how to do it from what ive read on here. please help

You need pressure switch and solenoid I believe. Any CELS?

I'm not completely sure what happened, but I just went from a P13 to a P72 today and I got the same code. SO I put the P13 back in and it happened again. So I switch back to the P72 and it went away and the car runs great. I would make sure you have a good connection with both of those wires.

Somehow you have to wire the oil pressure switch into the vtec solenoid. I don't know how.
But somebody else has it wired that way. I have mine set to ignore the vtec oil pressure switch.

I think a lot of JDM h22 don't have a vtec oil pressure switch.

            Any pics?

i did that and it was a bunch of nonsense.

i have a quick walk around video on youtube. but its useless.
its just the solenoid with one wire coming from it.

How did you have your vtec hardware removed from an ECU that didn't have it stock from Honda?

Or are you referring to the chip ignoring the vtec oil pressure switch?

If its the later it didn't work.
