    just did my clutch (damn)

    was that shit hard.man everyone ones said that it was easyer than your timming belt (bullshit) it took me from 4:00pm sunday to 1:30am monday morning it was really hard and dont tell me why i didnt do a diy thread because i was so frustrated but anyways it was a journey and my car feels brand new
    by the way my clutch was paper thin(no wonder it was slipping in 5th) will i do it again / i said no at first but i would to save all the money

                but that's the fun part !

                yeah i've done my share of clutch replacing but all have been on RWD cars (s13, ae86, sw20). i'll try FWD soon. it was a pain indeed!

                      dude i FEEL YOUR PAIN!! i am removing my broke ass tranny, worked from 1130 till 7 and only got to the part where you remove the axles. only problems that we have ran into was the back-up light electrical connectors, and we stripped an old bolt. it isn't super hard work, but it is extremely time consuming since we don't know what we are doing. and its just me, my old man, and my boy HAYNES!! haha

                        i think burnouts are harder on the throwout bearing than the clutch disk...

                        idk, i only drove 7k on my car with a decent clutch and now i need a new one, lol

                          That is insane, DIY clutch install! That's amazing, just simply amazing. I'm imagining how much work that is and all I can say is you guys have skills. Congrats on saving alot of money and getting more experience! DIY rules
