    Clutch Fluid?

I can't figure out if the cb7's have a hydraulic clutch or not... I bought a manual and it says that we don't but whenever I get my oil changed on the receipt it says that they checked my clutch fluid. If we do where is the cap for it located?

there is a small resevoir for it to the right of the brake master cylinder. Shouldnt be too hard to miss, pretty sure it says something about clutch on it.

Well I looked for it before and couldn't find it. I should be able to now that I know where to look. Any advice on what kind/brand fluid to use for it?

You sure you don't have an Auto tranny? Just use Dot 3 or 4 Brake fluid. It's the same type mechanism.

I dunno man I can't figure out what kind of transmission I have lol. I haven't had this car for too long so I wasn't sure what kind of clutch it had and it made me wonder because I couldn't find the fluid resevoir.

            it should be around there....

look at the engine from the front of the car, now look in the upper right hand corner...there is 2 resavors...brake fluid and ur clutch master...it has to be there...unless urs is not hydrolic, but i find that hard to believe.

this is a 91 clutch system..see the resavor...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I think that phatdohnut is saying we have cable shifted trannies. The clutch is hydraulic. A cable clutch would have a large cam at the top of the clutch pedal, like a throttle lever on a throttle body, only bigger... The cable would run out of the firewall, to the tranny, with no clutch master cylinder at the firewall.
