It should smell of gas when its warming up, after driving 15-20 minutes, you shouldn't smell it anymore.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Just as a precautionary question, do you see any brown stains around where the injectors go into the intake manifold? The o-rings start leaking over time.

I never smell gas, at start up or ever. I'd check the oring that the fuel rail is connected to. Also check the line coming from the fuel pressue regulator. I have a feeling that you just have to tighten something down a bit more.

          good luck

just run it for a while, warm it up nicely then sniff...if u smell gas in the engine then there, if in the outside of the car then its somethingelse.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
