    S light blinks 9 times code 9

S light blinks 9 times code 9, the list says: "9-Counter shaft or transmission speed pulse generator open or shorted."

Can someone please point me where is it ?! .... this happened @ 4:00 PM, it was 95 F hot day, I took it for a short trip now @ 9:00 PM, didn't get S light indicator.

Please help where should I look ?!

Thanks for replying eric, I would very much appreciate it if a more real engine bay pic could be posted because I still can't locate it, maybe because of grease and what not.

I searched the internet everywhere couldn't find a pic beside your schematics. My CB drive-ability sucks I step on Gas hard and it seems to take quite sometime to accelerate, it feels lazy or more in limb mode.

I hope I get a reply soon because tomorrow I want to tackle the issue and don't want to remove a lot of things in order find it.

            update:

I managed to locate it however when I try to twist it, I reach a point where the plastic top part hits the sidewall of the chassis so I cant twist it any more...what to do?

is it similar to a screw with threads? Helllllp

I finally bought a new sensor.

by the way the sensor behind is the NC sensor, the one on the front is the NM for any who is interested to know
