check it out, looks tight and clean, took out the fuel pump, it looks nice and new but the strainer was pretty clogged.

What is the job of the strainer ??? gonna post pics after cleaning the tank and its components, the tank from the inside looks clean and shiny though apart from few small debris

the strainer keeps any of that debris from getting into the pump and ruining it. clean out the inside of your tank as best you can, get all of the little debris out. Change out the strainer bag and you should be good.

alright fixed the problem, it was a clogged strainer, you don't need to buy a new one, you can simply clean it with water and dish soap and dry it with a dryer or the sun. The key is to blow in the strainer tube, if the strainer bulbs it means it is still clogged.

after cleaning I even used an air blower and blew the strainer tube and it wouldn't bulb meaning its totally, car runs like a Ferrari, the logical thing to do next was to change the fuel filter and so I did !! mission accomplished.

Just a word of advice, don't fill fuel directly from the station put it in a container of your choosing and use a funnel with a piece of flannel, fold it as much as you can then fill your car.

do what I did, drop the damn tank clean the strainer or replace it, then change your fuel filter, if you wanna go further, clean injectors

WARNING !!: be sure to buy a 15mm crow like wrench for the nuts, the regular wrench will damage the nut.
