Problems after cleaning iacv

Cleaned out the iacv and now I'm having hesitations at about 2000 rpm's like not getting air or gas but I have gas and new filter I have searched I can't find anything really related to what I'm looking at. Please if anyone has any information or can offer a suggestion that would be great

Was the iacv gasket replaced?

No and I know that was very poor of me but would a bad seal in this part cause very very poor acceleration I just drove it home and it's not wanting to go past 2000-2500 really at all

What's the best way to determine if the iacv is bad I think I ruined it and I'm hoping that's all I did and that is what is causing my problem but I want to be sure before I start buying parts

What kind of cleaner did you use to clean it? I would actually start by ordering a new gasket from the Honda dealer. Every time I clean mine I replace the filter screen and use carb cleaner with no problems at all. How thorough were you with cleaning it?

Carb cleaner. And thorough at least I thought could left over cleaner cause the hesitation
