    turning lights sound

When I turn the stick for turning right or left , it makes the corresponding sound. Once I had a busted turning light and I turned the stick to that direction the sound was faster. It indicated that one of the lights needed to be replaced.

Now, at random, that sounds start (like a light bulb needs replacement), even though I am not turning the stick for the turning lights, nor any lightbulb needs replacement ? It is only the sound , I check and no turning light is on at that particular moment. They work fine when I need to turn. It is that tic, tic, tic annoying me while driving.

    Any idea?

That's kind of a odd problem. It would annoy me too. First thing I would do is break the steering wheel down and check and see what's going on with the turn signal switch stick, and if I couldn't figure it out I would go to the yard and get a new one. Mine was out of line a while back because I didn't pay attention when I put my new steering wheel on, so I had to align this little piece so it would click at the right time to release after turning. It may be something as simple as that within that area.

try a new flasher relay. or get a solid state one if you dont like the clicking. (inside theres a metal strip it heats up and bends breaking contact, once it cools it makes the connection again and the cycle repeats, thats the clicking and how it works)

Really? I didn't think the relay would cause the problem. Honestly go with is opinion, much easy and faster to check the symptom.

im assuming the vague description of the sound is the clicking, not the buzzer for bad bulbs. from what i can decypher id bet on flasher relay, they do go bad over time inherently on just how they operate. if thats not the issue there are other relays in that area that could be failing, guess we'll find out if he's left stranded on the side of the road lol
