Yes, just make sure if your engine f22a1 that the car your pulling from is also a f22a1 or a4. You can pull from an a6 but it is mapped a little different i've been told. Find a ex with a a1 or a4. The ex doesn't have a govenor, lx does.Originally posted by JDMPR View PostI have a 91 lx wagon 5 speed, can I replace it with a sedan ecu with the trim and transmission?

You can, but it's not going to run right. I have a p13 auto ecu in my manual, but I had to move some resistors around for it to read right. I can't remember where I found the tutorial. I'll look for it this evening for you, it's not really hard to do at all. Basically de-soldering and re-soldering.Originally posted by JDMPR View PostFor testing purposes, can I put an automatic ecu just to turn the wagon on?

I couldn't remember what I had, I was wrong it was a P12. Either way it works in my car just fine.Originally posted by deevergote View PostAny ECU for an F22A1 will work fine. You can use the PT3 from an Accord, or for a bump in power, a P12 from a Prelude S.

As long as it's correct for the engine, it's fine. The PT3 and P12 are both F22A1 ECUs (the P12 is just tuned for a bit more power in the Prelude.)
If we were talking about an automatic, I don't know for sure if there's a difference between 90-91 and 92-93 regarding the Sport function and error reporting. I believe that's all in the TCU, but I don't know enough to be 100% certain. That's just pointless musing, however... since we're not talking about an automatic here!
