    Starter issue

Im having a starter issue. The starter is new, the signal wire attached to it is not getting 12v. I could jump the starter with key in on position, and the car starts up fine. So I'm not sure what it could be.

You answered your own question! You have an open circuit in that wire that doesn't have power.

Start by checking for power from ignition switch, and checking the solders on your main relay.

Is it a manual transmission? Check to see if you have both clutch pedal bushings, if so, jump the safety switch and see if it works.

How do check the ignition. The main relay was changed like 2yrs ago, but I will recheck it.
Might be the ignition cause there are times were it does turn on just takes a couple tries.

There is a wiring diagram in the technical section of this forum. It's a good reference. Otherwise you'll need a multimeter or a test light at minimum.

just follow the wire and check if it is cut somewhere ( check fuses too), this is the fastest way to rule this out and might be a Duh!! fix.
