I'm having some weird issues with my car. 91 lx f20b with a phearable p28 ecu. I have been running down some odd and end problems with my car and i have chased almost everything down except for a few things. I have an odd miss at idle, but no missing while it's driving. checked my plugs and it's not running rich at all. If anything it seems to be just a little bit lean according to the plugs. which brings me to my main issue. When i set my timing to 15 degrees btdc like it is supposed to be, it runs really good as far as starting, idle, throttle response etc. But when it is at wot and i cross over into vtec, it seems to be sort of held back. if i advance it as far as it can go it will seem to run almost like it's supposed to. It's like it's not getting enough fuel or something along those lines. it feels like the power is there but it's just being held back a little. it has new ngk plugs and wires, new fuel filter and i'm using obd1 h22 injectors. i've adjusted my tps, replaced o2 sensor and ect sensors with either brand new or known working sensors off of my running and driving parts car. could it be a fuel pressure issue? like my regulator or something? or my injectors partially clogged because they are used injectors? i'm beginning to think it is my tune because i'm still running a basemap because i cant find a tuner anywhere in my area. it's so bad that it's to the point where i'm am considering buying all the equipment and teaching myself how to tune. or at least get datalogging hardware and software and find an etuner somewhere. if anyone can shed any light on this i would appreciate it greatly.

alot of the time, Missing at idle has been contributed to Exhaust modifications, almost every aftermarket exhaust will cause a miss at idle, its just how it is. It seems like your timing isnt being adjusted in the tune when the motor goes faster like its supposed to, so it could very possibly be ECU/tuning related.sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

That's what I keep coming back to, I check and double check everything and I keep coming back to fuel delivery or my tune or both. Seeing as how it's a base map my gut and common sense tells me it's in the tune. I had no idea it would be so hard to find a tuner in Western Kentucky until I started looking for one. hopefully I will be able to find one very soon as that is all that is lacking on getting my swap to 100%
