    Distributor Cap and Rotor Button

well i'm changing these today...found out last night at around 11PM that my distributor cap was broken since my car wouldnt start after work. so anyway i got one of the mechanics to take a look and thats what he said was wrong...went back today and sprayed the fuck out of it with WD-40, finally got her running, and now i'm gonna fix this..

my question is, how much of a pain in the ass is this, and is this something i can complete in my garage this afternoon? thanks.

its like a 5-10 minute job
just unscrew the 3 screws on the cap.

Leave the spark plug wires on the cap if u dont kno what order they are in ( u dont want to confuse them, that will just mess ur whole day up).
once u remove the cap u will see the rotor, the rotor just pops off. put the new one on. one by one take the spark plug wires off the old cap and match them up to the new cap.
then place the cap back in place and screw it back on
all u need is a long screw driver to do this.

i dont know but it seems that if you dont have anything holding it in place, wouldnt it slip and fuck something up?
