Ouch... I hate it when I'm right. Hey at least you caught it before it literally fell off like mine. Now you can do it yourself rather than pay an arm and a leg for a mechanic to fix it. Good luck with that JB weld... I'm a little worried that the deteriorated rubber might cause it to be off balance, and the vibrations are just going to break the JB weld. It might work though, who knows. Either way, I'd only rely on it as a temp fix. How long till the H22a comes?

but don't you still need the alternator? i'm thinking you meant that you removed only the power steering belt. i can't live without mine .

H22a will not be in for awhile but it will be in the near future, if that makes sense at all. right now i want to take care of this little problem. the F22a still has some miles left in her .
