    Delta Cam Regrind Gains?

i was just wondering if this cam makes a big difference? A few said it does and a few said not much... but im assuming that they had different grinds. I was thinking about the 272 grind since i have 5 spd... think i can get into the high 15s with that cam? also boring out my TB to 64mm to compliment it.

Also for those that sent in the cam and have it already... how did you pay for it? Money Order? Paypal? if MO who did ya right it too? or if paypal... did u pay them first and then send it in with a paper telling them what ur paypal email address was? i emailed them but they never replied back... and that was a week ago.

    Thanks for your guys help

Honestly, the gains from the 272 I don't feel are that great. Definately a difference, but nothing spectacular.

Some say they're not as safe or good as billet, but I don't know of anyone that's had one break. Plus you don't have to upgrade your valve train, which makes this one of the cheapest mods for the HP.

        15's? Maybe.

I paid by debit card over the phone, fast and easy. They're very helpful guys if you call them too, I believe the main guys name is Steve, and he'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

          What are your supporting mods?

I noticed a hell of a difference... there was actually a midrange and topend...and depending on how I had other things setup... it was like VTEC... at about 3500-4k it would just start howling and take off...

yea i heard the cam upgrade 260 or 272 is very noticeable espeically on cars with bolt-ons.

It wouldn't even be worth it unless you had I/H/E at a minimum...

a few other basic things would really help you fine tune it and bring it right where you want it... ie: ported Tb and manifold, adjustable cam gear, adjustable FPR, lightweight pullies... not to mention a way to tune the fuel & ignition curves...

even going by the seat of my pants... I got good gains just messing around with a chipped ECU and the 272 with all the above mods except for pullies...and noticed alot of improvement and some gains after playing with the ECU...

Oh, I'm not saying it's not better, it's just not what I expected from the way you talked about it.

I have F22A6/H23 intake manifold, SR intake, Flowmaster exhaust(shitty), A4 header, ajustable cam gear, Weapon R throttle rotor(not really a mod)... that's about it.

You have to get 260's for the autos, cause the 272 give you a little bit of an idle.

Im pretty sure Uberdata works for autos.

Also i dont understand that whole 260 works for auto and 272 is for manual thing.

so uber data.. umm my engine idles rough with certian gas sometimes.... if thats what ur talking about... witht he 272. i want something aggressive for power. and i dont like to stay stopped for long lol plus in kentucky traffic is not much of a problem so if i have a rough idle i dont mind.. but does it change the idle rpm?
