    4WS on a CB7???

I was looking at that on-line service manual for the UK. What's this about 4WS? It sounds cool and I want it. What models came with it?

...Reminds me of the glory days of the Prelude.

Its a option were the rear tires turn in the opposite direction as the front tires to make the turn radius alot smaller. At high speeds it turns in the same direction as your front tires for a more steady side to side movement. All in all you get better handling. We only have this option on a couple year preludes, and like someone else said for the accords it wasn't a option for us but in other countries it was.

Back in 98 I saw 2 cb7's (both 90's) that were supposedly prototypes that had the 4ws on them. They were old nasty and rusted up, but deifnitly factory cars. They were north of pittsburgh, pa here and I never saw them again after that.

Retrofitting one of our cars with 4WS would be a sweet mod. I remember driving a Prelude with it. It's ackward at first, but you get used to it. It feels like you are floating around especially on off-ramps. Looking through the UK service manual, it looks like a very intense system with a main coontrol cable coming from the front rack. Plus, you would have to have the rear gearbox, and a rear suspension with lower ball joints and stuff so the knuckles could turn.
