another problem i have is my idles surge from 1.5k to 2.2k on start up and after running awhile it idles anywhere from 1.1k to like 1.6k..............any ideas? im kinda thinkin vacuum

But just fyi... on cold starts it's supposed to idle high and fluctuate ever so slightly... not to 2.2 and down to 1.5... but you get the idea...
Try the ole carb cleaner spray trick to find leaks...
