Door problems. Please help *pics include*

Well got my car today and i have a problem with the door. I think something is broken or something. look at the picture. These peice like pulls out of the door but its still attached to something. U can see that it bent the metal on the left. from the door being too open. How can i fix this? Does anyone know?

How does the door look opened and shut from the outside?

perfect this peice is just so the door doesnt swing all the way open i think. I need it fixed though! lol

Would you have to take your door off to replace that? Could you reinforce some metal to prevent it from sliding more then it should be (just a thought)? If your door opens and shuts perfectly... I say don't worry about unless your door just opens all crazy one day. Man if that's your only problem with your car, your lucky! I have rust on both my cars that I need to fix.

you could remove the door and remove the metal that is messed up and wire feed were the old metal was restoring it to near original condition and grind it down smoth and refinish it hay it would work, if you need reference to what it should look like go to a wrecking yard and look at one, might be to much work for some people not meaning you but for some that how i would do it but i have worked in the body repair industry as well , good luck with the repair

My door is like that too.No biggie just dont swing it open to hard.

my door does that too, but the jamb is not bent at all. it seems like the metal is very thin and flexible.

put lambo doors on it, then you won't even have to use that piece there.

hey man i really want lambo doors but dont wanna pay 600$ for them. Id give u 300$ for it. But im sure thats to cheap err.
