used H22a, need help.

Hey i want to buy this engine from this guy, but this is what he said.

It needs a knock sensor as far as I know. It starts right up idles fine, makes no bad noises, but at about 3500 acts like the ignition is cutting out which I am contributing to the broken knock sensor. If that doesn't fix it then I'd go with a old school tune up...cap, plugs and wires. It is throwing a repeating "4" code when you jump the service connector.

does that sound like a knock sensor problem. and the crank shaft position sensor. if that went out would it cause any more problems?

check there for the code..

but i really couldnt tell you what is wrong with that motor. how about having him take it to a mechanic or having a mechanic friend check it out..

the code is for Crankshaft position Sensor. anyone else, can anyone help?
