    electrical maybe???

ok for a while now my battery light has been flickering. And i believe that to be cause of the altenator or voltage regulator. but the problem is that last night on my way home about 25 minutes or so... my gauges started just like going crazy... rpms would drop to 0 and speed would drop to 0 but the car was still running fine.... my stereo would lose power and come back on... and headlights would dim and come back.... and then in 4th gear going about 45 my car started to sputter like it was trying to dye but when i put it in neutral it stopped and kept rolling.... and then i woke up this morning for work and car just wouldnt start making some weird weird noises like weird fried ratteling sound .... headlight still work so battery is fine....

    please help me .....

Yup, ground wire. Check negative battery terminal also.

sounds like a alternator problem....almost exact same stuff happened to me and indeed alternator was gone. unlikely it is a ground problem but better check anyways. check alternator first, 90% sure it is that. hope u have fun...it is a hella lot to get new alterantor lol. if u have a good I.C.E system then go with at least 120amp alternator!

i would also say it sounds like an altenator prob. but yea check the grounds and then check the alt. it could be the voltage regulator or the diode in the alt.

It is? A new alternator cost me around 50 or sixty bucks. Just make sure you bring in the old one so you get the core charge back, 'cuz its an extra $50. If it is the alternator and you're gonna change it out yourself, make sure you put the battery on a charger overnight. Also, the instructions that came with my new alt said when you first start the car after you put it in, turn the headlights on, rev the engine for about 30 seconds, then shut of the lights and the car off. It said you might have to do this to get the ECU to activate the new alternator. Until I did this, my car was still running off the battery.
