what i just found out about my daily driver

well, i need a new valve cover on it, oils leaking like shit.
but anyways....

im wiping the oil off areas and what do i see.....F22a6
and this is a 91lx .

i really notice this when i looked at the intake manifold it looked like my mothers who has a 92 ex with f22a6. i was really surprise to see this in a 91lx.

no wonder it ran a 16.4 in a quater with everything in the trunk and more.
but anyways still aint faster then my other car.....lol

wow, i never knew the 91 lx even came with the option of the a6. as far as i knew it was only supposed to be the a1...i have the a4 and i have an ex..

do this buddie, look at the vin number on the block and then the vin number on the car...tell me if they are the same or not, if not then its swapped...

Wow! I've never seen an A6 in a 91 LX. Must be a replacement or a mix-up at the factory. Either way, I'm sure you don't mind.

checked it out and...

its a swap f22a6 but only thing different was the timing belt cover its says A1 on it, so im guessin they just used the same cover that was on the ol motor.

but yeah its a A6.

Keep on scrubing and rubbing the engine, even a genie came out of a lamp, so an A6 will appear eventually Or you can use a chip and chissel and make that shy A6 appear
