    dizzy compatability

    sup guys

im runnin a F20A DOHC and i believe my cap/rotor is off of a 2000 civic SI.

I was wondering if a OBD1 SOHC distibutor cap will work on my motor since I want to convert to external coil. Anyone know for sure that it will work?

    thanks, Lee

ok, so you are currently using the F20 internal coil distributor with a '99 Si cap and rotor, right?

since the F20 dizzy is comparable to all other DOHC dizzies, then you should be able to use either a H23A1 or a USDM H22 cap with respective rotor buttons

someone else verify this, although i am fairly confident

From what i know, There are only two style dizzy caps within the 4 cylinder engines. I dont know all the applications to each but i can tell you that the f22b1 dizzy is different from the f22a dizzy. Thus, the two styles of caps. After that each style cap should fit most of the other 4 cyl hondas. The cap we use are commonly referred to the civic 1.6 obd1 caps.
