    H22 alternator belt question

I was at Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts today and I was looking for a replacement belt for my alternator/Ac pump.

Mine has been beat to hell from not being tight, so wear and tear killed it.

He entered 1994 Honda Prelude DOHC VTEC for the car.. and 2 belts came up.

I believe he said one is for the VTEC Si and one for the Non-Si model.. which belt do I need? They have different part #'s so I don't want to purchase the wrong one.

.. i HAD more shaved on my accord than your girl does on her entire body..

Take the old belt in and match it up, then write down the part # for future reference.

PURCHASED NOVEMBER 1991. THAT'S RIGHT, I'M THE ONE AND ONLY OWNER. BEAT THAT!

its probably not gonna be either one honestly, youll need a custom size one.. i think there might be a difference in the ac compressor pulleys.. keep in mind it shows the size on the belt itself.. i would just bring the belt in and have em match it up.. here is the belt that i just took off of my motor..

yes, you will need a custom belt, the accord compressor is only a 5 rib and the prelude is 6...not only that, but the pulley on the F22 AC is smaller than that of the stock prelude pulley. I too had to do some geometry to find the right length, only took twice The 1st one I was off by 1/2"
